Children’s Ministries

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6

At Immanuel Lutheran Church, we believe that children are a precious gift from God and a vital part of our church family. Through our Children’s Ministries, we provide Christ-centered programs that help children grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and experience the love of Jesus.

Sunday School (Ages 3–6th Grade)

Sundays at 8:30 AM – Fellowship Hall

Children are invited to join us for Sunday School each week before worship. Our caring and committed teachers lead age-appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, and songs that help children understand God’s Word and apply it to their lives.

Children’s Activity Totes

To help little ones stay engaged during worship, we offer Activity Totes for children in kindergarten and younger. These totes are available at both entrances and contain quiet activities such as coloring pages, Bible-themed puzzles, and more. Please return totes after the service.

Nursery Services

Located down the southeast stairwell, third door on the left

For families with infants and toddlers, we offer a clean and safe nursery room. Parents are welcome to stay with their child or return to worship. A nearby lounge is also available, equipped with a speaker so you can hear the service while caring for your child.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Each summer, we host a fun-filled, themed week of Vacation Bible School. Children enjoy Bible stories, music, crafts, snacks, and games—all centered around Jesus’ love and salvation. Stay tuned for details and registration!

Safety & Trained Volunteers

We take the safety of every child seriously. Our classrooms and play spaces are secure, supervised, and designed to help children feel welcome and safe.
